Board rules

These rules are disclosed to clarify the various responsibilities of all community members here on Tam's Inn. They shall be adhered to by everyone to ensure that our board runs smoothly and provides a fun and productive experience for all of our community members and visitors.

  1. Global Rules

    1. Tam's Inn is an 18+ space. We do not allow anyone younger than 18 to join us. If you are caught lying about your age, you will be banned. Of course you are allowed to come back once you hit the age of 18. #
    2. This is an English forum. Posts not written in English will be deleted and will result in a warning. #
    3. We do not accept any talk about politics or religion outside of the serious forum. Even then, keep your tone civil during discussions. The admins or mods have the right to put an end to any discussions. Failure to comply will result in a warning. #
    4. Again, this should be obvious but for some reason needs to be specified. No hate speech or discrimination of any kind is allowed. This includes but is NOT limited to: racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, misandry. This is not an extensive list. #

  2. Posting Rules

    1. Double posting, unless otherwise specified in a specific forum, will result in a warning and may even result in a ban if you keep doing it. #
    2. Mini-Modding is the act of modding in the absence, or even in the presence, of admins or mods by telling fellow users off for breaking a rule. Do not do this, either wait for an admin or mod to come in, or message them if you believe it's been too long. #
    3. Don't shit-post, troll, spam, ragebait or otherwise create low quality posts. Make sure you add to the conversation. The only exception to this rule is the forum games section, where trolling and spamming is allowed. #
    4. If you see a topic that you don't like, do not go in and hate-read it and then get mad that someone dares to create a topic or talk about things that you don't like. This especially goes for the writing, reading and art forums. Don't like it? Move on. #

  3. Avatar & Signature Rules

    1. It is not allowed to put 18+ content in your avatar or signature, this includes but is not limited to graphic nudity, gore and/or violence. #
