I hate it when games overmoralize killing decisions when it's the most logical option within the given setting

If you enjoy video games, this is the place to talk about them.

Depends on what is the material and which faction are you talking about. Each have their own thing, and it kinda depends on your viewpoint. You might agree with some things or disagree and thats makes the setting particulary dark as a lot of it is morally gray.
Could you give an example of gray morality?
Humans have to nuke a planet to save the solar system as they cant beat their opponents. Aeldari created certain planets and left them be to grow so they could come back later and humans colonoised them and the Aeldari tried explaining to them the situation at first but humans didnt care so now they just kill humans on the planets that they made so that they could live there again (but they dont have to live on those planets they just kinda want to and believe they are much superior to us).
Are Aeldari elves or eladrin?

They are elves while the Drukhari or Dark Aeldar are drows. 5e of dnd made a clear difference between Elves and Eladrin as eladrins were just "high Elves" instead of elves fused with the fey energy. (they legit looked like regular elves)

Dark Aeldari are drows without the matriarchy.

They have their own systems, where the rulling classes are tehnically associated with the Haemonculi (each Coven has one and they usually do what ever they want and none dare speak up)
