hi! my name is NyoroNyoro here and on Ao3. I love to write fanfic and fantasy novels, and I love hanging out and meeting new people. I'm also a huge nerd about linguistics and Japanese in particular hehe. Can't wait to meet everyone here and make new friends! (*'▽')

Hi Nyoro! We do love us some nerds (or well, I do) so you're more than welcome here. I've always wanted to learn Japanese because I like the sound of the language, but I never got very far. Much too lazy.

Some things to get you started:
1. Read the global rules (but we'll assume you've done that, because we like that).
2. Read the section rules (again, we'll assume you've done so).
3. You can receive push notifications if you'd like. To activate them, simply click on "notifications" at the top right and toggle the web push notifications. In your User Control Panel you will be able to select which notifications you'd like to receive.
4. You can edit the theme in your User Control Panel as well. We have several colours to choose from!
5. You are allowed to bump your topics every 7 days.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them, or if you have suggestions, we're open to anything!

You caught me before my edit I changed it to inform about the theme change instead, to keep it a neat 5 point list.

Anyway yes, I think we could reserve a topic in the serious forum for some Japanese lessons if you'd like that, so you could teach us all some common and maybe not so common words, or just anything that you think is cool! That'd be awesome.
