Hello everyone,

I thought it'd be fun if we started a Gaming Journal Thread.

The idea is to share anything that happened to you today in the gaming realm that you don't feel is worth a new thread or doesn't fit anywhere else.

If something is spoiler-worthy, just use the Spoiler marks.

For example:

1/30/2025:
Today I played some Marvel rivals.
I went 0 wins - 10 loss streak. Lmao, I'm such a loser, but I figured out you're supposed to aim with Hela.

It could be a fun routine and a way to make gaming a more mindful activity. Sometimes you're gaming and you lose all concept of time, so this is a way to slow down and allow for some perspective.

All I know is I haven’t gamed enough today.
I gave Marvel Snap a shot because Tam recommended it, but it's not as easy as she makes it seem.

My journal entry is: I need to stop having a life, instead I should devote my existence to grinding out this free XBOX Pass, fuck

No gaming, because my laptop is a potato. Hopefully next week I can play some. I was going to play Marvel Rivals with friends, looking forward to sucking hard at it, but whatever. It's not my type of game usually, but if it's with friends, that sounds fun.

I must return to BG3 and actually play the stupid game until the end, instead of, you know, noping out as soon as I get to Act 3, because of people allergy. I apparently get it even in games. wow.
Stannis Baratheon, first of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar, and the First Men, Protector of the Realm and Lord of the Seven Kingdoms.
This is my name. Say it every time we speak.

I didn't realise it was that bad in act 3, but then I've never made it past act 1. Maybe a good thing, then, because act 2 is all mushroom trash and holes, and act 3 is... people. Gotcha.
Ask me nicely. 8-)

Act 3 is the worst part of the game, it feels rushed and like it should have been split up at least into 1 or 2 more arcs. The first arc is by far the best.

Act 3 felt like a game on its own. A poorly conceptualized one at that.
